Hair transplant is a surgical technique which hair follicles from a part of the body called the donor site to a bald or balding part of the body known as ‘recipient site’. It is primarily used to treat male pattern baldness. Hair transplants differs from skin grafting in that grafts contains almost all of the epidermis and dermis surrounding the hair follicle, and many tiny grafts are transplanted than a single stripe of skin. Since, we all know that hair naturally grows in groupings of 1 to 4 hairs, current techniques and harvest and transplant hair “follicular units” in their natural groupings
Thus modern hair transplant can achieve a natural appearance by mimicking original hair orientation. This hair transplant is called follicular unit transplantation. Donor hairs are harvested in two ways: – Strip harvesting, Follicular Unit Extraction. Today people who are bald are doing so many things for looking beautiful. Their confidence level becomes low just because of baldness. There are so many techniques and ways by which people can get rid from baldness. Hair transplant is also a method of reducing baldness. Having hair is what gives the confidence to feel you good about yourself.
I am sharing an experience of a lady fighting with baldness. A lady was suffering from hair problem her hair were removing day by day in huge quantity. So she wear wig for weeks, then it turn into months and then it was regularly. So, she calls her hairstylist few days, reminding her again and again. There were many ups and downs in choosing wig. Firstly color of hair was no suitable for me and then length of hairs according to her need. And then finally she got her wig according to her need. But this is best for ladies.
If you are man fig is not suitable but don’t worry here is the solution “Hair Transplant”. Do you know what happens during hair transplant? After thoroughly cleaning your scalp, a surgeon will use a small needle to numb an area of your head with local anesthesia. Next, they’ll use a scalpel to remove a round section of your scalp covered with hair. Then they’ll sew the scalp closed. The surgeon will separate the removed portion of scalp into small sections using a magnifying lens and sharp surgical knife. When implanted, these sections will help achieve natural- looking hair growth. The surgeon will make tiny holes with a blade or needle in the area of your scalp receiving the hair transplant hundreds or even thousands of hair. After the graft, gauze or bandages will cover your scalp for a few days.
A hair transplant session can take four hours or more. Your stitches will remove out after 10 days of surgery. You may require up to three or four session to achieve the full head of hair you desire. Sessions occur several months apart to allow each transplant to fully heal. After hair transplant your scalp may be sore and you may need to take medications following hair transplant surgery, such as pain medication, antibiotics to reduce your risk of infection, anti-inflammatory medications to keep swelling down. It’s normal for the transplanted hair to fall out two or three weeks after the procedure. This makes way for new hair growth six to nine months.
